The Talon Fire Protection Range consists of Fire Collars and Wraps, available in a range of sizes to protect where pipes penetrate floors and walls. An Intumescent Sealant is also available for general sealant use and Fire Pillows where there may be frequent changes to requirements.
Intumescent Fire Collars - 2 Hour RatingTalon Intumescent Fire Collars are suitable for plastic pipes where they pass through fire resistant structures such as walls or floors. In the event of fire collars intumescent core rapidly expands to crush the pipe which seals off the area and maintains the fire integrity of the structural element.
Intumescent Fire Collars - 4 Hour Rating.Talon Intumescent Fire Collars are suitable for plastic pipes where they pass through fire resistant structures such as walls or floors. In the event of fire collars intumescent core rapidly expands to crush the pipe which seals off the area and maintains the fire integrity of the structural element.
FIRE RATING: Tested to BS476 Part 20 for 4 Hour in vertical / horizontal application.
Intumescent Fire Wraps - 2 Hours & 4 Hour Rating.Talon Intumescent Fire Wraps comprise of layers of intumescent strips sealed in a polythene protective sleeve with an integral self adhesive sealing strip. They can be fitted to walls or floors and are simply wrapped around the pipe where it penetrates. When exposed to temperature above 140oC the material expands many times its volume to fill the void left by the softening plastic pipe. FIRE RATING: Tested to BS476 Part 20 for either 2 Hour or 4 Hour in vertical / horizontal application.
Intumescent Fire Pillows - 4 Hour Rating.Talon Intumescent Fire Pillows are ideal for use where pipes, cables and trunking pass through fire resistant structures and frequent routing changes may occur.
Intumescent Acrylic Sealant - 4 Hour Rating.Talon Intumescent Acrylic Sealant is a high quality, low shrinkage, water based intumescent sealent providing good adhesion to a wide range of materials and surfaces.
FIRE RATING: Tested to BS476 Part 20 offering up to 4 hour protection.
